Matt Hokenson
Salesperson

Where did you work before you came to the Porsche center?
“Bryn Mawr Conference & Retreat Center in Honesdale, PA ”

And what was your job responsibility there?
“Team Facilitator during the fall & spring teaching team building and leadership skills. During the summer, I worked as the Director for their Lacrosse program.”

So, how did you become interested in the Porsche Center as a place to work?
“I was home for a 6 week vacation looking for a temporary job. I applied everywhere but the Porsche Center was the only company to hire me as a Porter. I was blessed and offered a job in sales thereafter and it has been great ever since that time. ”

Where are you from?
“I was born and raised here in San Antonio and graduated from Robert E Lee High School. ”

What do you do in your free time?
“Tennis & Golf are sports I love to play. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. ”

So why the car business?
“The Porsche Center has provided so many opportunities, any other job just wouldn’t do. I like to keep on my toes and the car business and Porsche Center do just that. ”

After being here 3.5 years, what do you like best about the Porsche Center?
“I enjoy getting to meet each person that walks through our doors. Each day I come to work and I never know who I will meet. I have met and worked with a lot of great people and made some good friends along the way. ”

So what do you think about being voted Employee of the Month?
“I was honored! It was a surprise to be in sales and be thought of as Employee of the Month. ”

February 2010 Employee of the Month

Jordan Connor
Service Porter

Where did you work before you came to the Porsche center?
"A local Ford Dealership."

And what was your job responsibility there?
"Porter and driving assistant, I drove cars to event sites, venues, etc."

So, how did you become interested in the Porsche Center as a place to work?
"First I wanted to seek employment elsewhere and second I also wanted to work in the car business again but with a brand other than a domestic brand."

Where did you grow up?
"I have been in San Antonio since I was born, graduated High School and am now attending Northeast Lakeview College."

What are you studying there?
"I am finishing my basics then will focus on Business Administration and Infrastructure Assurance."

What do you do in your free time?
"I spend time with my girlfriend and I also like to work on my Ford Pickup. I like to keep in clean and keep it in top condition at all times."

So why the car business?
"I grew up liking cars and remember a pickup, a Ford F350, my grandfather had. I called it the Great White."

After being here almost 3 months, what do you like best about the Porsche Center?
"Everyone is friendly, the cars are amazing and the work Atmosphere is not stressful."

So what do you think about being voted Employee of the Month?
"I was very surprised that I managed to accomplish that in my first full month here."
"I believe that every customer's car should be very clean when they pick it up."

Billy Campa
Shuttle Driver/Service Porter

Billy was voted Employee of the Month by his peers at the Porsche Center. Everyone mentioned Billy's work ethic, his "can do attitude" and willingness to get the job done when asked. No excuses or delays. We asked Billy how he feels about his nomination and his mantra. He said "If you are nice to people, they will be nice to you". Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. He tries to get it done right the first time.
